Cecilia J. Rice, age 85 of Trenton passed away in her residence on Saturday, September 1, 2007 at 11:45 AM. She was born in Hamilton on February 28, 1922, the daughter of Egidius and Marie (Krebs) Nistler. On October 14, 1936 in Newport, Kentucky, she was married to Robert Rice and he preceded her in death in 1984.
She is survived by three sons; James (Ruth) Rice of Cleves, Ohio, William (Aldie) Rice of Summerfield, Florida and John (Karla) Rice of Trenton; two daughters; Laura (Richard) Jones of Trenton and Sherry (Tommie) Evans of Hamilton. Also thirteen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Sue Rice in 1948 and three brothers and one sister.
A graveside service will be held in Hickory Flat Cemetery on Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Mike Carmody, Pastor of the Calvary Missionary Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation will be held at the graveside on Wednesday from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM.
