Charlene S. Messer

Charlene Sherrie Messer, age 36 of Seamen, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at 11:54 AM. She was born in Hamilton on March 11, 1974 the daughter of Thomas R. and Monica (Lipps) Messer.

She is survived by a daughter, Shona-Jo Messer of Hamilton; her mother and stepfather, Monica and Dennis McKnight of Hamilton; her father and stepmother, Thomas R. (Theresa) Messer of Middletown; two brothers, Thomas Andrew (Teresa) Messer of Cincinnati and Henry R. (Susan Johnson) Messer of Winchester, Ohio; a sister, JoDena (Dennis Jr.) McKnight of Hamilton; her beloved dog Harley; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a brother, Peter Allen Messer; and grandparents Henry and Pearl (Arvin) Messer, Robert Lipps, and Alberta (Bley) Grissom.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at 6:00 PM with Rev. Paul Hensley of New Beginning Tabernacle officiating. Cremation will follow. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering following the funeral on Tuesday at New Beginning Tabernacle, 2561 Ramona Lane.
