Passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 in Port Charlotte, Florida. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on March 3rd, 1927, to Louis M. and Myrtle Deuser. Charlie served in the U. S. Navy in WWII from March 1945 to August 1946. Charlie had a long and successful career working at General Electric, Cincinnati, OH. He and his now deceased wife Sue moved to Punta Gorda, Fl., to enjoy a long and productive retirement. He was particularly skilled at woodworking, and contributed to the beauty of San Antonio Catholic Church as well as gifting his many friends with his own works. Charlie served as a cantor at San Antonio Church and sang with the Liberty Singers. His wonderful bass voice was an asset to many choirs. He is survived by his loving wife Pat (Tarziers), son Ronald and wife Laura, daughter Jaci and husband Danny (Ninia), as well as daughter-in-law Janie Mester and two step children Jackie Jensen and Richard Wade. Charlie was blessed with loving grandchildren Brian Mester, Shannan Miller, and Christopher and Michael Honious. His great grandchildren are Ryan and Mitchell Honious and Ellie and Paige Miller. There will be a Memorial Mass for Charlie at San Antonio Catholic Church, Port Charlotte, on Friday Sept. 28 at 10:30 AM. Contributions may be made in lieu of flowers, to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, San Antonio Catholic Church, 24445 Rampart Blvd., Port Charlotte, FL. Arrangements for burial are being made by Brown-Dawson Funeral Home in Hamilton, Ohio.
