Charles W. Seifert, age 84 of Camden, passed away at Woodland Country Manor on Sunday, August 18, 2024. Charles was born in Hamilton, Ohio on November 11, 1939 to Adrian H. Seifert and Ethel (DeMonge) Seifert. He graduated from Fairfield High School in 1958 where he ran track and played football. Upon graduation, Charles joined the United States Navy from 1958 to 1962 where he served on the USS Hornet as a helicopter mechanic. On August 17, 1963 he married Margaret “Peg” Stewart who preceded him in death in June of 2020. Charles retired as Assistant Chief from the Middletown Fire Department after 30 years of service. He was a private pilot and mechanic for Hogan Airport in Hamilton, Ohio. He was also a talented wood worker who enjoyed doing anything outdoors.

Charles is survived by his daughters, Kelly (Mike) Halderman and Karry Scott; grandchildren, Burke Halderman, Carroll Dingledine, and Brennan Halderman; great-grandchildren, Penelope and Daisy Halderman, and Esdon and Mac Dingledine; sisters, Mary Beth Malloni, Louise Seifert, and Coralee Seifert; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Charles was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 57 years, Margaret Stewart; and his brother, Adrian C. Seifert.
