Charles H. Smith

Charles H. Smith, age 54 of Hamilton, passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2014. He was born in Harlan Co., KY on May 15, 1960 to Arnold and Mary (Allen) Smith. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and loved spending time with his family and friends. In 1996 in Hamilton he married Sherry Caudill. Most of all he loved to be a prankster, laugh, and have fun.

He is survived by his wife, Sherry Smith; two children, Chad (Jessica) Smith, Miranda (Robert) Reynolds; two step children, Terrance Taylor, Ashley Taylor; his mother, Mary Smith; brother Dana (Nancy) Smith; one sister, Katherine Smith; grandchildren, Kyle, Charles, Sophia, Naomi, Lillian, Catherine, Alisha, Nicholas, Meranda, Alexis, and Keirsten; mother of his children, Victoria (Paul Lunsford) Smith; one nephew, Daniel Smith; and two nieces, Shelby (Randy Holliday) Smith, Brandi (Nathan) Thomas; great nieces Allie and Claire, and other family and friends. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Tasha Smith; his father, Arnold Smith; two brothers, Arnold Smith Jr. and Ronald Smith; and grandson, Jayden Taylor.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Friday, August 8, 2014 at 2PM. Burial will follow at Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8, 2014 from 1PM-2PM at the funeral home.
