Charles Wagers Jr., age 52 of Hamilton passed away at his residence on Sunday, June 27, 2010 at 11:45 PM. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on August 20, 1957 the son of Charles Sr. and Lula (Stephens) Wagers. Charles was employed as a mechanic for Wagers Towing. On December 10, 1977 in Hamilton he married Cheyelena Johnson.
He is survived by his wife, Cheyelena Wagers; a daughter, Tonya Wagers; his father, Charles Wagers Sr.; eight brothers, Larry (Rosanna) Wagers, Gary (Tammy) Wagers, Ronald (Glenna) Wagers, Donald Wagers, Robert (Amy) Wagers, John (Debbie) Wagers, Paul Wagers, and Albert Wagers; and a sister, Pamela (James) Philpot. He was preceded in death by his mother.
Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 1:30 PM with Pastor Jim Smith of Church of God of Prophecy officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM.
