Charles "Pete" Thompson

Charles “Pete” Thompson , age 76 of Hamilton, passed away at Woodlands of Hamilton on Thursday, May 18, 2023. Pete was born in Clay Co., Kentucky on June 7, 1946 to Eugene and Blanche (Allen) Thompson. On April 11, 1966, he married Wynema Cox. Pete retired from Mosler Safe Co. after 30 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, gardening and above all, his grandchildren.

Pete is survived by his daughter, Tammy (the late Randi) Spenny; his grandchildren, Ashley McDonald, Courtney (Jerry) Menninger and Jacob (Claire Cashdollar) Robinson; his great-grandchildren, Taegan, Brayden, Grayson, Elliot, Emery and Kinslee. Pete was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 54 years, Wynema “Granny”  Thompson; his siblings, Robert R. Thompson and Lucille Tumler; his great-grandchild, Gabriel; and his son-in-law, Randi Spenny.

Visitation will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio, on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Hickory Flat Cemetery.
