Cheryl Sue Vidourek, age 71 of Fairfield Twp., passed away at Jewish Hospital on Saturday, June 27, 2026. Cheryl was born in Hamilton, Ohio on August 10, 1954 to Donald and Lois (Dufficy) Ramsey. Cheryl graduated from Garfield High School in 1972 and graduated from Miami University Nursing School in 1974. On October 11, 1974, she married the love of her life, Donald W. Vidourek. Together they raised their daughter and shared many years of precious memories. Cheryl was a proud nurse and had worked for Otto EP Memorial Hospital, Fort Hamilton Hospital and Dr. Evans and Dr. Zettler’s private practice. She enjoyed going to Houghton Lake with her husband, attending IBEW events and traveling to Florida with her sisters.
Cheryl is survived by her husband of 52 years, Don Vidourek; her daughter, Meredith Vidourek; her grandsons, Braydyn (Audrey), Landyn, Jayce, and Nolan; her great-granddaughters, Oaklee and Nora; her sisters, Teryl (Tim) Scharrer and Jackie (Jeff) Hausmann; her brother, Craig (Pam) Ramsey; her sister-in-law, Kathy (the late Patrick) Milligan; and many nieces and nephews. Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Kenda; her aunt, Audrey South; and her in-laws, Donald P. and Ruth Vidourek.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 5, 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio 45013. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 400 Nilles Rd., Fairfield, Ohio, on Monday, July 6, 2026 at 10:30 AM with celebrant Fr. Larry Tharp. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Vincent DePaul of Sacred Heart Church.
