China Pierson, age 95 of Hamilton passed away at Doverwood Village on Wednesday, September 7, 2016. She was born in Estill County, Kentucky on April 25, 1921 the daughter of John and Anna (Isaacs) Embree. China attended the Princeton Pike Church of God. In 1955 in Hamilton she married Kenneth W. Pierson and he preceded her in death in 1999.
She is survived by two sisters, Mable (JR) Richardson of Hamilton and Edna Creech of Carlisle; a step son, Kenneth (Barbara) Pierson of Hamilton; three grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and six great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Kathleen Wade.
Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Monday, September 12, 2016 at 12:00 noon. Entombment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Monday from 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon at the funeral home.
