Christian G. Haehnle

Christian G. Haehnle, age 85 of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Friday, December 16, 2016. Christianwas born in Cincinnati, Ohio on May 14, 1931 to George Haehnle and Elizabeth (Schnieder) Haehnle. Christian was a Tool and Dye maker at GE Evandale Plant for over 36 years. He was a longtime Butler County Farmer, a volunteer Milford Twp. Fireman, and a United States Veteran of the Air Force Active Reserves. On June 16, 1951, in Cincinnati, OH, he married Armeda Supe.

Christian is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Armeda Haehnle; his children, Jim Haehnle, Sharon (Earl) Stang, Penny (Ron) Scott; five his grandchildren, Andrew (Sarah) Stang, Randy (Mandi Smith) Stang, Casey (Taylor) Stang, Stephanie (Ty) Babb, Christy Stang; four great grandchildren, A.J., Makinze, Parker, and Olvia; his brother, Charlie Haehnle; and three sisters, Betts, Kathy, and Carolyn (Don); and many nieces and nephews, other family and friends. Christian was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, Helen and Frank; his sister in law, and brother in law Elenora and Don Garrod; and his grandchildren, Samantha Haehnle and Christopher Scott.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 22nd, 2016 from 3:00PM-4:00PM for Family and 4:00PM-5:00PM for the public at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio. Following the visitation food and drink will be served at the a celebration of life honoring Christian, all are welcome and encouraged to join us at "Darrs Run" former Darrtown Baptist Church, 330 Walnut Street, Darrtown, Ohio.

Burial will be on Friday December 23, 2016 at 11AM at Arlington Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests, memorial donations may be made to, Milford Twp. Fire Dept., Seven Mile Life Squad, or the charity of donor’s choice. Condolences may be made at www.browndawsonflick.com
