Christina Rae Bailey

Christina Rae Bailey, age 26 of Hamilton passed away at University of Cincinnati Hospital after a long, courageous fight on Friday, April 30, 2010 at 9:49 PM. She was born in Hamilton on June 18, 1983 the daughter of Gary and Marlene (Carmack) Jackson. Christina was employed as a sales clerk at Once Upon a Child. She was a member of Church of God of Union Assembly, where she directed the Little Lambs Choir.

She is survived by a daughter, Kendall Bailey of Hamilton; her mother, Marlene Carmack of Hamilton; her father, Gary (Verna) Jackson of Hamilton; a brother, Matthew Rogers of Hamilton; a sister, Vicky Jackson of Hamilton; a special friend, Rick Tracy of New Carlisle; grandparents Bea Carmack, Helen Jackson, and Vernon and Irene Richardson; a lifelong friend, Paula Kalbi; two nieces, a nephew, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers Jackie Jackson and Ray Carmack; two uncles, Anthony Richardson and Gaston Parker; and two infant cousins.

Visitation will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Tuesday, May 4, 2010 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral service will be held at Church of God of The Union Assembly, 1814 Millville Avenue, on Wednesday at 10:00 AM with Pastors Oley Wilson and Brent Sowders officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. The family extends a special thank you to the 2nd and 7th floor University ICU teams for all their care and support. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Christina Bailey Memorial Fund at any Fifth Third Bank.
