Christine Steele, age 84 of Hamilton passed away at Wellington Manor on Friday, July 9, 2010 at 5:15 AM. She was born in Hazard, Kentucky on November 6, 1925 the daughter of Perry and Nora Rebecca (Adams) Roach.
She is survived by two sons, James Michael (Denise) Steele of Hazard, Kentucky and Bobby Steele of Covington, Kentucky; a daughter-in-law, Shirley Suffridge of Hamilton; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and a number of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sons, David Steele and Paul Suffridge.
Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Wednesday, July 14, 2010at 11:00 AM with Rev. Elby Harrison of Harvest Christian Fellowship officiating. Entombment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
