Chuck Carbary

Chuck Carbary, age 66 of Overpeck passed away at his residence on Sunday, June 24, 2007 at 1:15 AM. He was born in Hamilton on February 24, 1941 the son of Ralph and Mattie (Conley) Carbary. Chuck was employed as a carpenter for Armco Steel for 32 years, retiring in 1993. He was a member of the New Miami Church of Christ. Chuck was an avid hunter, fisherman and enjoyed woodworking. In 1969 in Garden City, Michigan he married Eleanor Scott.

He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Carbary of Overpeck; two daughters, Jeannine (Rick) White of Hamilton and Andrea (Tom) Fuerst of Ross; four grandchildren, Corey (Brandi) Finch, Chris White, Jason White and Sarah Fuerst; five great-grandchildren, Hannah, Cameron, Connor, Kaitlyn and Carter; and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral service will be held at Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at 11:00 AM with Minister Randy Dodd of New Miami Church of Christ officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. The family wishes to thank all of the family and friends who were always around to give spiritual, emotional, and physical support. We thank them for "packing his parachute." Chuck’s request, in lieu of flowers, is to please make donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Cancer Research Center or the Hospice of Cincinnati.
