Claude Mcdaniel

Claude McDaniel, age 84 of Hamilton passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at 11:55 PM. He was born in Hazard, Kentucky on January 2, 1926 the son of Dan and Ida (Asher) McDaniel. Claude was employed as a core operator at Hamilton Brass & Aluminum for 26 years, retiring in 1990. He was a member of Princeton Pike Church of God.

He is survived by two daughters, Karen (Mike) Spears-Taylor of Hamilton and Connie (Bob) Federle of New Iberia, Louisiana; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Loretta (Eichner) McDaniel; his parents; a son, Larry McDaniel; three brothers, Luke, Clyde, and Carl McDaniel; and a sister, Hazel Bush.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Friday, April 23, 2010 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Ron Medley of Princeton Pike Church of God officiating. Committal service will follow at 1:00 PM at Vine Street Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
