Claude R. Sweet

Claude R. Sweet, age 62 of Hamilton passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Thursday July 26, 2012. He was born in Hamilton on March 30, 1950 the son of Virtis and Mae (Brock) Sweet. Claude was employed in general maintenance at Diebold and he was a member of Zion Baptist Church. On December 5, 1969 in Hamilton, he married Mary Treadway.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Sweet of Hamilton; two sons, William Sweet of Cincinnati and Robert (Amber) Sweet of Fairfield Township; two daughters, Frances Sweet and Mae Sweet, both of Hamilton; a brother, Wendell Sweet of Hamilton; three grandchildren, Amanda Mae Sweet, Marina Sweet, and Maya Sweet; a special cousin, Elmer Johnson; and a special friend, David Perkins.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home 1350 Millville Ave. on Tuesday July 31, 2012 at 11am with Pastor Derrick Lay officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10am until time of service at 11am.
