Clayton Lipps

Clayton Lipps, age 52 of Hamilton passed away at Fort Hamilton Hospital on Tuesday, September 8, 2009. He was born in Hamilton on January 4, 1957 the son of Wilburn and Dora (Henson) Lipps. Clayton was a U.S. Marine serving in Viet Nam. His honorable service to our country made a great impact on his life.

Clayton is survived by his two brothers, Eugene Lipps and wife Maggie and Ray Lipps and his wife Vicke, both of Somerset Kentucky; sister, Rita Holder of Perris, California; daughter, Jennifer Lipps; and his pride and joy granddaughter, Tyanna Lipps, both of Hamilton. Clayton will be missed by many whose lives he touched. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Betty Faye Stephenson and Patricia Gray.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Saturday, September 12, 2009 at 12:00 noon with Rev. Lois Williams officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held Saturday from 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon at the funeral home.
