Clemmie H. Cole, age 68 of Hamilton passed away on Wednesday April 22, 2009. She was born in Beattyville, Kentucky on August 25, 1940; the daughter of Monroe and Anna (Steele) Bowers. Clemmie was a homemaker, and attended the Hamilton Dream Center. On March 13, 1958 in Jackson, Kentucky she married Parnell Cole who passed away on September 3, 1998.
She is survived by her children; Janet Cole, Michael Cole, Gary (Melody) Cole, Roger Cole, Jefferey Cole, and Donald Cole, all of Hamilton; seven grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; and a brother Edward Donald (Jaunita) Bowers of Elsmere, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 40 years; two brothers; and a sister.
Funeral services will be held at Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave. on Saturday April 25th at 2:00PM, with Rev. Wendell Coning officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 to 2:00PM.
