Cleston C. Terry

February 14, 1934 — April 11, 2008

Cleston C. Terry, age 74, of Hamilton passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Friday, April 11, 2008. He left this life as he lived it: with great courage, surrounded by those he loved. The youngest son of seven children, he was born to Kilby and Loteena (Keeton) Terry in Cooperative, Ky., on February 14, 1934. He joined the United States Army in 1953 where he met and married the love of his life of 52 years, Eileen Gregory in Crewe, England. He retired from Ford Motor Co. after 31 years. He and his wife loved to take trips and spend time in Arizona with all their wonderful friends. He always said "I’m the luckiest man in the world." He was so proud of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was an active member of VFW #7670, F&AM Ben Franklin Lodge #719, and Moose Lodge #501. Husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, we will miss your kind and caring ways. Good byes are only for now.

Cleston Terry is survived by his wife Eileen, son Wayne (Sarah) Terry, daughters, Debbie Terry, Shellie Terry, Christine Reddock, and Marilyn (Geoff) Butler. Eleven grandchildren: Jamie, Melissa, Tiffany, Natalie, Brooke, Brittney, Ashley, Jade, Paige, Mollie Jo, and Max Cleston, eight great-grandchildren: Charlotte, Kayla, Megan, Kylie, Bradley, Mei, Peyton, and Aiden, two sisters: June (Josh) Watters, and Bonnie (Roy) Ivey, and a very special person Billie Jean Terry. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kilby and Loteena Terry, a sister, Claudene Knox and three brothers, Harold, Amos, and Carol Terry. He will be sadly missed by many.
