Cleveland Walker

Cleveland Walker, age 81, of Hamilton, Ohio was called away by our Savior on August 27, 2010 at 1:59 a.m. at the Hospice of Hamilton and reunited with the love of his life, Bessie Walker, who preceded him in death after 47 years of marriage on May 10, 2001. Cleve was born on January 14, 1929 in Whitley County, Kentucky. Cleve was employed by Mosler Safe Company until he retired after 30+ years of service.

He is survived by his sons, Ricky Lane Walker (who he always called his best friend) and wife, Liz, of Hamilton, Ohio and Larry Walker and wife, Joyce, of Williamsburg, Kentucky. Grandchildren: Traci Lane Walker, Rinaldo Yulfo, III and his wife, Rose Yulfo, of Hamilton, Ohio. Clint Walker and Amanda Walker of Williamsburg, Kentucky. Great grandchildren: Jaiden Lynn Walker (7), who loved her "Papaw Papaw" dearly and Haylee Lane Yulfo (11 months). He is also survived by his brother and sisters, Jesse Bolton of Brooksville, Kentucky, Bonnie Felts (Ronnie) of Cincinnati, and Betty Bowling of Brooksville, Kentucky. Very special friends, Edna Pennington and Harold Wagers, who could always be counted on anytime he needed them. He also leaves behind his best little buddy, his 1 year old Yorkie named Oscar. He is preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Bessie Walker; his parents; and his brother, Cleston Bolton.

Funeral service will be held at the MORNING STAR CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP CHURCH, 200 Belle Avenue, on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Ronald D. Howard officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held Monday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the church. The family would like to extend a very warm thank you to the staff at Hospice of Hamilton for their kind and loving care during this time.
