Clifford Allen King, age 69 of Hamilton passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Sunday, February 27, 2011 at 8:35 PM. He was born in Cincinnati on May 30, 1941 the son of Carlos and Ceicle (Brown) King. Clifford was employed as a boilermaker for the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers and was a member of Eagles Lodge #2193 in Mt. Healthy.
He is survived by a daughter, Stacie (Jeff) Spradlin of Hamilton; his loving wife, Carol King of Cincinnati; three grandchildren, Ryan Simms, Taylor Simms, and Hannah Simms; two great-grandchildren, Ryan Simms Jr. and Seth Wyatt Simms; three brothers, Robert (Mary Fran) King of Florida, Rick (Kathy) King and Charlie Sullender, both of Cincinnati; and two sisters, Sharon (Norman) Johnson of Fairfield and Pat (Don) Archer of Cincinnati. He was preceded in death by his father, Carlos King; his mother and stepfather, Ceicle and Charlie Sullender; a brother, Carl King; and a sister, Tommy Gehring.
Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Joe King officiating. Burial will follow in Arlington Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
