Clifton Gabbard

Clifton Gabbard, age 79 of Hamilton passed away at Huntington Court on Friday, October 14, 2011. He was born in Breathitt County, Kentucky on May 22, 1932 the son of Grover and Lydia (Ingram) Gabbard. Cliff was a master mason, and he helped create many beautiful homes. His hard work, humor, and optimism brought joy to all who knew him.

He is survived by his devoted daughter, Pam (Donnie) Sapp, sons Grover Clifton Gabbard and Mike (Agnes) Myers, and daughters Lisa Myers and Robin (Bob) Gamrel) Gabbard; a sister, Nadine Deaton; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, fourteen siblings, and a stepson.

Cliff’s family would like to thank the staff of Huntington Court for taking such great care of him for the past two years. Although his loss leaves a hole in the hearts of many, the wonderful times with him will never be forgotten. Graveside services at Greenwood Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.
