Clifton Roberts

Clifton Roberts, age 70 of Hamilton, passed away at Fort Hamilton Hospital on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at 03:55PM. He was born in Ammie, Kentucky on December 25, 1942 to Elisha and Julie (Mobley) Roberts. On March 10, 1962 Clifton married Julia Combs in Sextons Creek, Kentucky. Clifton was employed at General Motors and retired after 31 years. He really enjoyed farming, carpentry work, and spending quality time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Julia, sons Gregory (Jessie) Roberts and Barry (Kim) Roberts, grandchildren Brianne (Thomas) Ellison, Connor Roberts, Abby Roberts and Riley Roberts, great grandchildren Emma and Elizabeth Ellison, sister Frieda Sandlin, brother Ralph Roberts, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Clinton and Alex Roberts, sisters Dixie Madden, Marie Silcox and Gladys Sester. The family would like to thank Fort Hamilton Hospital, Golden Years Health Care, and Alternate Solutions Home Care.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 11 AM with Pastor Alan Weaver of Hamilton Church of God officiating. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2013 from 10- 11 AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Hamilton Church of God or a charity of your choice.
