Clyde D. Doyle

Clyde D. Doyle, age 72 of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at 12:35PM. He was born in Wilmore, KY on October 8, 1942 to Dewey and Ada (Cowans) Doyle. Clyde was employed at Champion International Paper Company for 35 years retiring in 2000. He was a member of the Masons, Washington Ch. #17; a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Ch. # 407; a member of the Monkey Mutual Aid Society, all in Hamilton. He was also a member of Bethel Community Church. Clyde was an avid hunter and fisherman, and loved the outdoors. He was a Veteran of the United States Army, who served in Vietnam as a Gunnery Sergeant. While stationed in Germany, he met his first wife Brunhilde (Bonnie) Parsche Doyle, who preceded him in death after 37 years of marriage. On December 6, 2003 in Hamilton, he married Shirley Miller nee Davis.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Miller-Doyle; two step children, John E. (Anne) Miller, and Joseph A. (Tammy) Miller; two grandsons, Jay and Tommy Miller; nephew and niece, Casey and Caitlyn Wagonfield; one sister, Betty Marchant; and numerous other nieces, nephews, other realitives and friends; and his family in Germany. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Geneva Clark, Evelyn Mills, and Edna Doyle; his brothers, Jerry, Ray, Bill, and Russell.

Funeral service will be held at Bethel Community Church, 2015 NW Washington Blvd., on Monday October 27, 2014 at 1:30PM with of Rev. Charles A. Staudenmaier officiating. Entombment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery Chapel. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 26, 2014 from 6PM-8PM at the church. Memorial contributions can be made to Bethel Community Church, Hospice of Hamilton, or to Cincinnati Shriners Burns Hospital in his honor.
