Congress J. "Junior" Creech

Congress J. Creech (“Junior”) 73 of Hamilton, unexpectedly passed away on Sunday, November 24th, 2024 in Erlanger, KY. Junior was born in Clay County, KY to Congress and Emma Rose (nee Adams) Creech on July 15th, 1951. He attended school in Hamilton and graduated from Fairfield Senior High School in 1975. On June 22nd, 1987, he married Cherri Lynn Burns in Fairfield, Ohio.

Junior had a long career as a truck driver, most recently retiring from Dan Welch Trucking Inc. in Hamilton, OH. He lived an abundantly full life. In his younger years, Junior enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. He spent his final years completing his greatest achievement- caring for his wife and loving his family.

He was a kind, gentle, strong man, brother, devoted husband and loving father. He was raised in a tight-knit, loving family. That love, overflowed into his own family, whom he loved with every ounce of his being. He was a human GPS and the ultimate MacGyver. Junior adored his animals and considered them a part of his family. He was greeted in the afterlife by many beloved pets… Chewy, Nikki, Toby, Willie, and Joey.

Junior is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Lynn; his children, Jessica (James) Creech-Geurin of Cincinnati, OH; Mark (Tammy Raines) Ante of Panama City, FL; Tracy Barger of Hamilton, OH; and Nida (Ryan) Gibson of Trenton, OH; his sister, Darlene Jones of Hamilton, OH; Uncles Raymond Creech of Oxford, OH and Wendell Creech of Homosassa, FL; and Aunt, Betty Farler of Little Rock, AR.

Junior was preceded in death by his parents; several Uncles and Aunts; his lifelong best friend, Mike Newberry; and close friend, Steve Keltner.

Celebration of his life will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, OH 45013, on Saturday November 30th, 2024 at 12:00pm with ­­­­Randall Sorber officiating. Visitation will be 11:00am to 12:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to ­­­­­his daughter, Jessica Geurin, for the care of Lynn.

He left us with these words: “Take time to love and be loved; it is God’s greatest gift.”
