Connie Glassmeyer

Connie A. Glassmeyer, age 77 of Hamilton, passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on January 31, 1946 to her mother, Josephine (Hart) Isaacs.  Connie and her husband owned and operated The Deli and Sandwich Shoppe and Catering by Connie for almost 30 years. The best part of her life was being a grandma to her many grandchildren. Connie was a mother, grandma, mamaw, great grandma, nonnie, sister, friend and so many other roles she filled. She was our center, moral compass, and our heart.

Connie is survived by her children, Steven Allen, Tina (Bob) Saurber, and Vicki Allen; her siblings, Brenda Reiff, Pauline Croucher, and Barry Isaacs; sister-in-law, Betty Isaacs; daughter-in-law, Johnnie Allen; her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Connie was preceded in death by her mother, Josephine Isaacs; husband, Dick Glassmeyer; son, David Allen; her siblings, Billy Isaacs, Sonny Isaacs, and Bobby Issacs.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August  4, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, Hamilton 45011.

A mass will be held at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 2550 Millville Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Friday, August  4, 2023 at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at St. Stephens Cemetery.  Memorial contributions can be made to Queen of Peace Catholic Church and Hospice of Hamilton.
