Convel "Connie" Holloway

Convel "Connie" Holloway, age 96 of West Chester, passed away at Doverwood Health Care on Thursday, June 7, 2018. Convel was born in Paige, Kentucky on September 4, 1921 to Boss and Lillie (McGeorge) Holloway. He was a member of Millville Ave. Church of God for over 50 years. Convel served during WWII in the US Army. On June 19, 1948, he married Gladys Hampton. He retired from Ford Motor Company after 25 years and from Kroger after 10 years.

Convel is survived by his wife of 69 years, Gladys Holloway; his son, Mark Holloway; his siblings, John (Geneva) Holloway and Maxine Pikis. Convel was preceded in death by his infant son, Gary Wayne Holloway; his sister, Nancy Brock, and his parents.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio, on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Tim Cole officiating. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.
