Cory McQuitty

Cory R. McQuitty, age 23 of Oxford, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2025. Cory was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 21, 2002 to Woody McQuitty and Robin Williams. He loved animals, especially his dogs Nova, Amara and Leo. Cory enjoyed riding four wheelers, mudding, the ocean, kayaking, fishing, travelling and working on cars. He was very ambitious towards his goals but never let that get in the way of spending time with his family and friends. Cory was full of life and love, always laughing, always kind, and a friend to everyone.

Cory is survived by his mother, Robin (Sam Given) Williams; father, Woody McQuitty; the love of his life, Cheyenne Phelps; brothers, Nathan (Jen Pearson) Smith, Brey (Katie) Smith and Sammy Given; mamaw, Jeweldean Wagers; niece, Kenna Smith; nephew, Wyatt Smith; one niece on the way, Elsie Smith; best friends, Jason, David, Austin and Dawson; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Memorial service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Friday, October 17, 2025 at 5:00 PM. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made to the Animal Friend Humane Society.
