Cynthia Kay Rotte

Cynthia Kay Rotte (Johnson), age 66, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on September 26, 2026, at Otterbein Senior Life Community in Loveland, OH. Before moving to Loveland, she was a resident of Hamilton, OH, and Liberty Twp, OH. She was born on February 29, 1960, in Hamilton, OH. Being a leap-year baby was always a source of fun for her family, and her children loved to joke that, at just 16.5 years old, she was younger than they were.

Cindy was a loving mother who was primarily a stay-at-home mom. She also spent time working in administrative positions and several years bar tending around the Hamilton area. Cindy loved being on the water, whether it was in Florida, at Lake Cumberland, or on Lake Erie. She also always enjoyed fishing.

She is survived by her son, William E. (Jennifer) Stumpf, Jr of Monroe, OH; her daughter, Kristina M. Rotte, of Sharonville, OH; and her grandchildren, Kellie-Rebekah, Brayden, Sophia, Adalynn, Kinsley, Kaleo, and Makoa.

She is also survived by her brother, Steve (Sandy) Dees of Hamilton, OH; sisters, Nancy Dees of Hamilton, OH, and Eva Griep of Pueblo, CO; as well as her many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kelly E. Stumpf; her parents, Wade and Mary (James) Johnson; her sister, Linda Dimit; and her brothers, Kenny Johnson and Kerry Dees.

Cindy will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

A gathering will be held at Brown-Dawson-Flick, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio, on Monday, October 5, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
