Daisy Mae Deaton

Daisy Mae Deaton, age 83 of Hamilton passed away at her residence on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at 10:55 AM. She was born in Dry Ridge, Kentucky on April 18, 1926 the daughter of Thomas and Maude (Blackwell) Humphrey. Daisy was member of the Millville Avenue Church of God. On May 27, 1946 in Erlanger, Kentucky she married Lee Roy Deaton and he preceded her in death in 1998.

She is survived by three children, Billy (Mary) Deaton of Fairfield, Charlene (Greg) Musselman of Hamilton, and Becky Smith of Hamilton; three grandchildren, Ryan (Christie) Deaton, Dale (Angela) Deaton, and Josh Smith; three great-grandchildren, Alex, Shelbie, and Madison Deaton; and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Harry, Hughsie, William, Carl Thomas, and Clyde Humphrey; and four sisters, Adlean Marrs, Marie Azbill, Edith Mae Humphrey, and Lena Perkins.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at 10:00 AM with Rodney Roe officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
