Dakota Lee Whitaker

Dakota Lee Whitaker, age 20 of Hamilton passed away at her residence on Friday, November 22, 2013 at 11:02 PM. She was born in Hamilton on May 20, 1993.

She is survived by her maternal grandparents, Don and Linda Whitaker; paternal grandmother, Kathy Gates; uncle, Mark Kuykendoll; and her aunt, Heather Hayes. She was preceded in death by her mother, Cherish Yvonne Whitaker.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Greg Mullins of Franklin Street Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the funeral home. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Children’s Hospital doctors and nurses, their PDN Home Nursing Unit, Children’s Star Shine Hospice Unit, and to all the special needs teachers who worked with Dakota at Hamilton City Schools. May God bless our family and friends for their support and prayers. Through these people, she had a short but happy and very loving life. God bless all those who made her life a loving and joyous time.
