Dale Leroy Lakes

Dale Leroy Lakes, age 61 of Oxford, passed away on Monday, February 8, 2021. Dale was born in Hamilton, Ohio on January 28, 1960 to the late Kenneth Lakes and Helena (Murphy) Lakes-Saylor. Dale was a member of the Laborer’s Union Local 534 and worked in construction for many years. He was a good handyman and could fix most anything. He enjoyed cooking, NASCAR, and dirt track racing, but above all, he loved spending time with his family. Dale is survived by his children, Jamie Gentry, Jessica (Chris Minor) Furnish, and Justin (Tara) Lakes; his grandchildren, Hunter Gentry, Jaxson Gentry, Harper Gentry, Eli Furnish, Colton Lakes, and Rylee Lakes; his sister Tammy (Jose) Garcia; his brothers, Kenny (Jenny) Lakes and Terry Lakes; his sister-in-law, Lillian Lakes; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and close friends. Dale was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Kevin Lakes. Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Rose Hill Burial Park, 2421 Princeton Rd, Hamilton, Ohio.
