Dale L. Posey

Dale L. Posey, age 86 of Trenton, passed away at Atrium Medical Center on Tuesday, February 20, 2024. Dale was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on February 24, 1937, to Seth Posey and Olive (Ross) Posey.  Dale was in the 25th Division of the United States Army as a Huey Helicopter Pilot.  He was involved in Law Enforcement in Los Angeles, California, was an Alaska State Trooper as a Bush Pilot, and was an FDLE in Florida.  Dale also owned and operated his own trucking business for over 40 years.  He was a Master Mason, Scottish Rite, a member of the Bahia Shrine of Orlando, FL, and a President of the Lake County Shrine Club Florida in 2011.

Dale is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Posey; his daughter, Debra (Jerry) DeHague, of Denver, CO;  niece, Glenna (Jerry) Duvelius; his great nephew, David (Calla) Duvelius; and his good friends, Phil (Anne) Ridenour, Dick (Janie) Giffen, Tom Johnson, and Florida friends, Floyd (Barbara) Cogley. Dale was preceded in death by his parents, several siblings.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio, on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at 7:00 PM.
