Dan Brusaw

Dan Brusaw, age 66 of Hamilton passed away at Mercy Hospital of Hamilton on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at 7:02 AM. He was born in Hamilton on June 19, 1945 the son of Robert W. and Mary Evelyn (Ward) Brusaw. Dan was a veteran of United States Air Force from 1962 to 1966. He was retired from Ford Motor Company and a member of Paducah Avenue Baptist Church. On March 8, 1997 in Hamilton he married Phyllis (Kelly) Tuttle.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Brusaw of Hamilton; two children, Kristina (Tony) Hatfield of Hamilton and Renee Henson of Trenton; three stepchildren, Barbara Perry, Robert Tuttle Jr., and JoAnna (Mike) Rice, all of Hamilton; one brother, Ted (Barb) Brusaw of Dayton; thirteen grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Rita Brusaw; an infant daughter, Rebecca Brusaw; stepdaughter, Carla Tuttle; brothers, Frank, Jim, Bill, Bob, and Al Brusaw; and sisters, Jesse Johnson, Mary Goodman, and Sarah Allen.

Funeral service will be held at the Paducah Avenue Baptist Church, 6859 Paducah Avenue, on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Darrell Preston and Pastor Darrell Messer officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Monday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
