Daniel B. Sibcy, age 77 of Middletown, passed away peacefully at his residence on Monday, August 26, 2013. He was born in Glendale, OH on October 1, 1935 to Wallace and Mary Lou (Borders) Sibcy. On July 20, 1990 in Middletown he was united in marriage with Kay Yazell, who remained at his side throughout his illness. He was retired from AK Steel in 1995 after more than 42 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Kay Sibcy; sons, Eric and Kevin Sibcy; daughters, Anita (Dennis) Williams, and Kathy (Jeffrey) Ranck; Step-daughters, Cathy (Robert) Price, and Karen (Rick) Sizemore; sister, Linda Zehler; brothers, Gary and Paul Sibcy; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Glen Sibcy.
Funeral service will be held at Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Friday, August 30, 2013 at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 30, 2013 from 1:00 - 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
