Daniel Truster

Daniel Truster, age 78 of Hamilton, passed away on Friday, September 24, 2021. Daniel was born in Hamilton, Ohio on July 11, 1943 to the late Warren and Elma (Heet) Truster.

Daniel was a fourth generation farmer and worked the Truster Family Farm his entire life. He was also employed at College Corner Implement for over thirty years. Daniel was proud to serve his community as a member of the Seven Mile Volunteer Fire Department & Life Squad. He started volunteering when he was a high school senior and over forty years, rose to become the Assistant Chief. Daniel will be remembered for being a thoughtful friend and good neighbor. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Daniel is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Carol Truster; his children, Tim Truster, Chris (Grant) Truster and Jeff (Mary) Truster; his grandsons, Owen and Lucas; his sister, Patsy Moorhead; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and close friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October  1, 2021 from 5:00 PM until the time of his Funeral service at 7:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio.

Memorial contributions in Daniel’s honor may be made to the Seven Mile Volunteer Fire Department & Life Squad.
