Dannie Marlin Bynum

Dannie Marlin Bynum, age 84 of Hamilton, passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2024. Dan was born in Union City, Tennessee on December 25, 1939 to Menis and Lucy (nee Savage) Bynum. On February 15, 1969, he married the love of his life, Mary Ware. Dan served in the United States Air Force. Upon retirement from Standard Publishing in 2003, Dan and Mary enjoyed traveling and spending winters in Florida then Arizona. Dan enjoyed golfing, was talented at watercolor, enjoyed wood working and was a jack of trades.

Dan is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mary Bynum; his children, Robyn (Randy) Anderson-Duncan and Jason (Heather) Bynum; his grandchildren, Hunter Anderson, Tyler Monahan, Carson Anderson, Alexis Bynum and Kenadi Bynum; his great-grandchildren, Sawyer, Lucy, Hudson and Kolson; his sister, Glenda Wallace; and his fur baby, Chloe. Dan was preceded in death by his parents; and his sisters, Betty Rodgers and Bonnie Chilcoat.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 29, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St Aloysius Catholic Church, 3350 Chapel Road, Shandon, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Aloysius on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at 12:00 PM with celebrant Fr. Richard Walling. Interment will follow at St. Aloysius Cemetery.  Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Cincinnati.
