Danny E. Beattie, age 59 of LaVergne, Tennessee passed away at his residence on Sunday, November 16, 2008. He was born in St. Joseph, Missouri on May 4, 1949 the son of Zepherin and Dorothy (Langemach) Beattie. Danny was employed as a field service engineer at Xerox Corporation.
He is survived by two daughters, Vicky Agee and Kristina Beattie, both of Hamilton; his devoted companion, Jennifer Creviston of LaVergne, Tennessee; a sister, Nancy (Morris) Rockwood of Savannah, Missouri; a niece, Stacy (Eddie) Bollmeyer of Savannah, Missouri; and his former spouse of 23 years, Cheryl Beattie. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Thursday, November 20, 2008 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Wendell Coning of Hamilton Dream Center officiating. Burial will follow in Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 12:00 noon to 1:00 PM.
