Darla Anglin

Darla A. Anglin, age 74 of Monroe, passed away at her home on Wednesday, October 29, 2014. She was born in Cincinnati on June 18, 1940 to Albert and Esther (Stenger) Schatzle. On April 30, 1960 she married John Anglin in Glendale. Together with her husband of 54 years, they founded John Anglin and Associates Auctioneers. Darla enjoyed time with her family, gardening, the county fairs, her horses and she never met a stranger.

She is survived by her husband John, children Randy (Cheryl), Mick and Andrea (James Ricke); granddaughters Chelsey (Zak DeVotie) and Shiloh; a sister Gloria Hyatt and one brother Wayne Schatzle; and numerous nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind many special friends and lifelong classmates Barbara Cox and Mary Scholz. She was preceeded in death by her parents. The family would like to thank Senior Independence Hospice for their loving care for Darla.

Funeral Service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at 11 AM. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 3, 2014 from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
