Darlene J. Fields

Darlene J. Fields, age 72 of Hamilton, passed away at Fort Hamilton Hospital on Tuesday, December 6, 2022. Darlene was born in London, Kentucky on May 30, 1950 to the late Nathan Proffitt and Lettie Brock Proffitt. Darlene was a passionate member of the Amvets Post 24 and the Moose Lodge. She spent her time helping others, but most of all helping veterans their benefits. She also spent her time playing darts and playing pool.

Darlene is survived by her children, Corinna Daisie Stone, John (Dottie) Fields, Edward (Sandy) Fields, Gerrie Ann (the late Larry) Steed, Homer (the late Martha) Fields; her many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and her lifetime best friend Kathy Campbell.

Darlene was preceded in death by her siblings.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio, on Friday, December  9, 2022 at 7:00 PM with Pastor Barry Wilson, officiating.  Visitation will be held on Friday, December  9, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.
