Darlene M. (Lipps) Robertson

Darlene M. (Lipps) Robertson, age 50 of Hamilton passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Sunday, March 22, 2009. She was born in Hamilton on March 21, 1959 the daughter of Robert Carl and Alberta Rose (Bley) Lipps. Darlene was a homemaker who loved jigsaw and crossword puzzles, mysteries, and writing poetry.

She is survived by six children; numerous grandchildren; four brothers, James Lipps, Carl Lipps, Robert Lipps Jr., and David Smith; three sisters, Monica McKnight, Tammy Reece, and Terry Lipps; a sister-in-law, Ursula Lipps; and several nieces and nephews, including her favorite niece, Nicole Roberts. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lipps and Alberta Grisham and one son.

Visitation will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Thursday, March 26, 2009 from 6:00 PM until time of funeral service at 8:00 PM. Rev. Dennis Burns will officiate. Cremation will follow.
