Darrell L. Chasteen

Darrell L. Chasteen, age 63 of Hamilton, passed away on Monday, March 30, 2015. He was born in Berea, Kentucky on December 14, 1951 to Robert and Christine (Abner) Chasteen. Darrell retired after 38 years of hard work from the Laborers Union 265 and 534. He was a member of the Monkee Mutual Aid Society for 15 years.

He is survived by his loving wife Carol J. Chasteen, four sons Rocky (Olivia), Jason (Jennifer) ,Josh and Ben (Amber); and a faithful sidekick Brutus; grandchildren Josh, Bailey, Karson, Kyle, Kelsie, Kyra, Aspynn, Kaley, Cooper, Brooke, Reese, Kyndall and Jackson; two sisters Beverly and Joy and two brothers Bobby and Kenneth; and numerous nieces, nephews, family members and close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Ralph and Michael.

Funeral service will be held at Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 11 AM Bishop Larry Fultz officiating. Entombment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 6, 2015 from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
