Darrell L. Day

Darrell L. Day, age 65 of Oxford, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at Kettering Hospital Hamilton on Sunday, March 2, 2025. Darrell was born in Hamilton, Ohio on September 10, 1959, to Robert Day and Wanda Fern (Wyatt) Day. Darrell worked at Day’s Sunoco for over 40 years, and after at Wayne’s Towing in Hamilton.

Darrell is survived by his loving mother, Wanda Fern Day; his siblings, Peggy (Keith) Walls, Sharon (Rob) Rich, Becky (Bill) Lowe, Sandy (Steve) Baker, Karla (Erik) Chaney, Denise Goll, and Michael Day, his step mother, Marcia Day, special friends, Tim (Kim) White, his two cats, Maddie and Jack, and many other nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Darrell was preceded in death by his father, Robert Day; his grandparents, Harry and Ruby Wyatt, and Floyd and Elizabeth Day.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at 1:00 PM with Pastor Charlotte Barden officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.
