Dave R. Henderson

Dave R. Henderson, age 65 of Hamilton, passed away at his residence on Sunday, August 25, 2019. Dave was born in Dayton, Ohio on March 16, 1954 to James Henderson and Maxine Ruth (Courtaway) Henderson. Dave worked as a Machine Operator for Kellogg and Pressman for over 45 years, retiring in 2019. He loved yardwork, gardening, camping, and most of all spending time with family and friends.

Dave is survived by his loving wife, Charlotte (Richardson) Henderson; his children, Crissy (Bill) Snader and Jerrod Moore; five grandchildren, John W. Snader III, Emily (Thomas) Swank, and Abby Snader, and Karli and Kaylee Jay Moore; two great grandchildren, Alexander and Aaron Swank; his siblings, Ginnie Bentley, James Michael (Debbie) Henderson, Joe Henderson, John Henderson, Joyce (Paul) Fraser, Linda Pierce, and Russell L. Henderson. Dave was preceded in death by his parents, James Henderson and Maxine Ruth Henderson; and two brothers, Don Henderson and Jimmy Wayne Edwards.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio, on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Keith Staton officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dave’s visit nurse with Hospice of Cincinnati, Emily Wurster RN, for her care and support.
