David Alan Combs

David Alan Combs, age 57 of Hamilton passed away at Atrium Medical Center on Sunday, March 13, 2011 at 2:48 PM. He was born in Hamilton on March 30, 1953 the son of Charles and Kizzie (Crawford) Combs. He was employed as a registered nurse for the State of Ohio and was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. On November 26, 1973 in Hamilton he married Diane Flaig and was a very dedicated father and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife, Diane Combs of Hamilton; a son, Erick (Amy) Combs of Hamilton; a daughter, Libby Combs of Hamilton; a sister, Patricia (Steve) Dussair of Cherry Valley, Illinois; three grandchildren, Katlin, Matthew, and Abigail; a cousin, John Carey of Hamilton; an aunt, Marie Arnold of North Palm Beach, Florida; and close friends Bradley and Linda Whalen of Mason. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Robert Smith; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Donald and Arleen Flaig.

Funeral service will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1285 Main Street, on Friday, March 18, 2011 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Kevin Jud, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Thursday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
