David Michal Krause

David Michal Krause, of Hamilton, Ohio, passed away on August 4, 2026. He bounded into this world in September 6, 1943, in Hamilton, Ohio, to Richard and Edna Krause. He will always be remembered for his hugs and his love for his family. He was dedicated to his Lord and Savior with all of his heart, until his very last breath.

Mike was a fierce protector and a loyal husband, father, brother and papaw. He graduated from New Miami High School in 1961 and joined the United States Army in 1962. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran, boldly donning his Veterans hat everywhere he went.

He is survived by his beautiful bride of 59 years, Barbara Elaine; their three daughters, Nicole Fields, Holly (Derick) Wooley, and Angela (David) Miracle; their six grandchildren, Rachel (Ben) Matchett, Tyler Fields, Nicolas and Lily Kate Wooley, Tyler and Samuel Miracle; and two great grandchildren, Waylon Michael and Ella Rae Matchett.

Mike was an avid golfer, and loved his golfing buddies even more than he loved the game itself. He also loved his church family, and was a dedicated member of Immanuel Baptist Church for 60 years. He joyfully shared his faith with others, and chances are that if you crossed paths with him in the last few years, you have a “little Jesus” with you now.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Immanuel Baptist Church on Saturday, August 8, 2026. Doors will open at 10:00 AM, and the service will begin at 11:00 AM.
