David R. Morgan

David R. Morgan, age 87 of West Chester, passed away at Westover Retirement Community on Tuesday, July 8, 2025. He was born in Leslie County, Kentucky on October 13, 1937 the son of Carl and Myrtle (Mosley) Morgan. David was employed as a truck driver for Columbia Oil for forty years and then was employed at Kroger for another fourteen years. He was a devoted member of the Princeton Pike Church of God. On April 4, 1958, in Jellico, Tennessee he married Colene Stephens and she preceded him in death on July 28, 2010.

David is survived by two sons, Donnie (Tami) Morgan and Brian (Lisa) Morgan; four grandchildren, Justin (Michael Yokosuk) Morgan, Jessica (Phillip) Tipton, Makaley (Jeff) Kaczmarek, and Madison Morgan; two great grandsons, Ezra and Zayne Tipton; two great granddaughters on the way, Noah and Navy Kaczmarek; five siblings, Charles Morgan, Leon (Linda) Morgan, Vanda (Jerry) Goforth, Margaret (Donny) Cheek, and Bert (Estill) Smith; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two siblings, Bernard Morgan and Shirley Wilder; and sister-in-law, Betty Morgan.

Funeral service will be held at Princeton Pike Church of God, 6101 Princeton Glendale Road, Hamilton, Ohio, on Monday, July 14, 2025 at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Monday from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the church.
