David W. Stewart

David W. Stewart, age 81 of Hamilton, passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Wednesday, February 21, 2018. David was born in Hamilton, Ohio on August 7, 1936 to Thomas Stewart and Flossie Benge Stewart. He married Opal Hampton Stewart on March 28, 1952. David was a Supervisor for Champion International Paper and retired after 47 years. He loved Cleveland Browns and Horse Racing. He had a longtime friend since grade school named Jerry "Bear" Amos that he enjoyed visiting and going to horse races in Tampa, FL.

David is survived by his wife Opal Stewart; children, Shelley Terry, Rome Stewart, Tammy Janosik, Fred Stewart and Kelly Stewart,who was always like a son; 2 sisters, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. David was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Flossie; daughter, Kim Stewart; son-laws, Tom Janosik and Jamie Terry; several siblings.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 26, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio. Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
