David Lee Davis Sr.

David Lee Davis Sr., age 84 of Hamilton, passed away at The Community Living Center at Cincinnati VA Medical Center on Saturday, January 25, 2025. Dave was born in Hamilton, Ohio on December 18, 1940 to Wiley A. and Mildred A. (nee Castator) Davis. He retired from CSX Railroad and Great Miami Railroad. Dave was a member of Timberhill Baptist Church and JB Covert Masonic Lodge #437. He served in the United States Navy from 1958-1962.

Dave is survived by his wife of 64 years, Kathleen B. Davis; his children, Kathy (Tony) Seifert, Pam Nusky, David “Butch” (Stephanie) Davis Jr., Darrell Davis, Tammie (Scott) Day, Julie (Lee) Majors and Andrea (Greg) Baker; his grandchildren, Stacy, Alex, Shawn, Brad, Joshua, Jordan, Adam, Ryan, Jamie, Chloe and Savannah; his great grandchildren, Jasper, Hazel, Austin, Justin, Brynna, Pamela, David, Carter, Colby, Jayden and Charlotte; his great-great grandchildren, Alijah and Aleksandr; and a host of family and friends. Dave was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Jim (Vicki) Davis.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., Hamilton, Ohio. Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at 6:00 PM with Pastor Scott Miller officiating.  Graveside Service will be held at Dayton National Cemetery, 4400 West 3rd Street, Dayton, Ohio 45428, on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at 10:00 AM.  Memorial contributions can be made to Timberhill Baptist Church, 144 Timber Hill Dr, Hamilton, Ohio 45013.
