De'Asia Sims

De'Asia Dayzhore Smiley-Sims, age 20 of Middletown, passed away on Monday, December 15, 2014. She was born in Hamilton on September 4, 1994 to Roy and Seletta (Wilson) Sims. De’Asia was a 2013 graduate of Middletown High School, and was attending Miami Jacobs Career College, as a Dental Assistant. She was a hard worker, with two jobs, one as an STNA, where she enjoyed working with the elderly, and the other as a telemarketer.

She is survived by her mother and Step father, Seletta Wilson and Homer Easterling; father, Roy Sims; brothers, Tyonne Smiley, Jerimyah Smiley; Roquan Sims, and DeAndre Sims; and a sister, Arielle Sims; step siblings, Mike Easterling, Emily Easterling, and Jake Easterling; and three Godchildren, Ki Smiley, December Smiley, and Kinley. She was preceded in death by a brother, Asa Wilson.

Funeral service will be held at Christ Temple Church of God in Christ, 577 2nd St., on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 12:00 PM with Pastor Paul Mack officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 29, 2014 from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the church.
