Debbie Figg

Deborah "Debbie" R. Figg, age 59, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 2nd, 2019. She was born on November 24, 1959 in Richmond, KY. She is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer Johnson and Gladys Webb (Johnson). She is survived by her siblings; Sue McKinney married to the late Ray McKinney, Elmer "Butch" Johnson married to Becky Johnson, and Janet Johnson. She graduated Taft Senior High School in 1978. She married the late Jeffrey "Jeff" Figg on February 14, 1981. She had two children Joshua "Josh" Figg married to Stephanie Figg and Jessica Davis (Figg) married to Andrew Davis. She also has three grandchildren Andy Figg, Adam Figg, and Alex Figg. Debbie has many other family members including Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins. Her family and friends were the most important thing to her and she loved them all very dearly.

Debbie has worked at Ohio Casualty, been assistant manager at Jo-Ann Fabrics, and worked many different positions in Hamilton City Schools. Debbie also previously worked as a Sunday school teacher for Princeton Pike Church of God and was very involved with the Lincoln Elementary PTA, including being president. She also worked at Wal-Mart in Richmond, KY and worked as an Admissions Processor for Eastern Kentucky University. Debbie was very passionate about helping anyone in need especially children. Please join us in celebrating her life at Brown, Dawson, and Flick 1350 Millville Ave. Hamilton, Ohio 45013. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 11, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. There will be a visitation on Friday, April 12, 2019 from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM and the funeral service will be directly after. Services will be led by Minister Sam McKinney of Irvine, KY. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park.
